A quote that a sweet friend sent me.
Yet the grief I feel is sweet as well as bitter. I still have a sorrowful soul: yet I wake up each morning joyful, eager for what the new day will bring. Never have I felt as much pain…yet never have I experienced as much pleasure in simply being alive…Never have I felt so broken; yet never have I felt so whole. Changes.
I haven’t blogged in a while… I feel like these past two weeks have been a whirlwind filled with unending ups and downs. Camp the past two weeks has been more difficult for me in that I found it a little bit harder to connect with the kids than in the previous weeks. I painted some nails for about an hour and then made flower crowns with some...

Week one.
Week one at camp is complete, and I can’t believe how much I loved it. Honestly, I think I had more fun than the kids most of the time. We had a great group from Northern Ireland serving with us this week and they added lots of spunk to camp Vetca. The kids on my team were absolutely hilarious… we lost every single event, but they were so happy to be there that they didn’t seem to care...
